A west Kerry County Councillor hopes an appeal lodged by An Taisce relating to the Dingle to Camp road will be dealt with speedily.
Yesterday, the National Trust for Ireland announced it plans to appeal a ruling handed down in the Commercial Court dismissing a legal challenge it took seeking to quash An Bord Pleanala’s decision to grant permission for the N86 road improvement scheme.
The 65 million euro scheme seeks to straighten and improve the road from Dingle to Annascaul and from Gortbreagoge to Camp.
A hearing to determine if An Taisce will be granted permission to appeal will be heard on November 6th.
