« BackWeather warning for Kerry remains in place until Saturday morning

A Code Orange weather warning remains in place for County Kerry and other parts of the southwest this morning.
Met Éireann is warning of spot flooding and treacherous driving conditions with rainfall levels of up to 75 milimetres predicted.

The weather warning remains in place until at least 3 o’clock tomorrow morning.

Ahead of the predicted spot flooding and heavy rain overnight, Kerry County Council put a number of precautions in place including putting road crews on standby to deal with any possible flooding emergencies

The council is advising motorists to exercise care on the roads this morning.
