« BackVolunteers across the county raise money for Pink Ribbon Day

Almost 80 women in Kerry and two men were diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012, according to the Irish Cancer Society which has launched its ‘Paint it Pink’ campaign.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the society is telling people to be breast aware and take care of their health.

Today is Pink Ribbon Day and volunteers are selling pink ribbons across the county.

All the funds raised will go towards lifesaving breast cancer research and cancer support services.
