A voluntary group in Killorglin are to undertake a survey on Japanese knotweed.

Save Our Laune is an umbrella group tasked with tackling the invasive species, which is threatening the Laune River and its tributaries.
Coastway Surveys will analyse parts of the Laune River today and tomorrow in an effort to combat the knotweed.
The Save Our Laune group has stated that anyone interested in the survey is welcome to attend.
