« BackVintage Rolls Royce tour leaves Kerry

A group of vintage car enthusiasts have been touring Kerry as part of their international tour.

Owners of the Rolls Royce Silver Ghosts have shipped their cars to Ireland from as far away as Canada, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Switzerland.

The cars date from 1910 to 1926 and the pre-World War I models are the most valuable.About 80 members of the Silver Ghost Association, travelling in 30 vintage cars, have been based at the Sheen Falls Hotel during their stay in Kerry.

Today they move on to Adare Manor for the next leg of the trip, which finishes in Dublin on September 28th.The group is selling postcards of the cars and all the proceeds will be donated to Temple Street Foundation.
