Officers investigating the Orlando nightclub massacre are said to be combing the scene for IDs to help them identify those killed.
It’s feared the death toll may rise as many of those hurt are said to be in a critical condition.
50 people were killed and another 53 injured in the club in the early hours of Sunday.
The suspected killer – 29-year-old Omar Mateen – made a 911 call swearing allegiance to Islamic State before opening fire.
Meanwhile, a candlelit vigil for those who lost their lives in the weekend’s tragedy, is being organised in Tralee tonight.
The vigil is being organised by members of Kerry’s LGBT community, who’re asking people to gather in the Square at 9pm.
Candles will be provided and it’s hoped that a Book of Condolences for the victims will also be available.
