The Minister for Health says he’ll do everything in his power to help avert next week’s planned industrial action by nurses.
Rolling two hour stoppages at 7 hospitals are planned for Thursday 14th, with further action on Tuesday 26th January.
Nurses voted against proposals because they weren’t confident the HSE would implement the recommendations across the board.
Minister Varadkar says he’s confident the stoppages can be averted.
But he says there can’t be immediate progress on all issues.
