Two Kerry TDS have clashed over their respective political parties’ response to the housing crisis.
The Government and Fianna Fail yesterday voted against a bill by Sinn Fein on rent certainty.
Sinn Fein Deputy Martin Ferris says rent increases across the country have made people around a thousand euro worse off.

Meanwhile, Fianna Fail Kerry TD John Brassil says the Sinn Fein bill is premature as the Housing Committee has been set up to look at the matter and their final report will be discussed in the Dail next week.
Deputy Brassil said he doesn’t understand why Sinn Fein brought the bill forward in the first instance.
He says Sinn Fein had their chance to be in Government:
