Tributes are being paid to the President of Kerry London Association who has passed away.
Christy Kissane died unexpectedly yesterday at his home in North West London. 69 year old Christy Kissane left the Beaufort area around 50 years ago for London where he worked on building sites. He later owned many pubs but was probably most famous for running the Kingdom Bar in Kilburn. Christy was widely known in many circles including football and politics and became a leading figure of the Irish community in London. Chairman of the Kerry London Association, of which Christy was president, Danny Tim O’Sullivan says there’s a cloud over the city after Christy’s sudden passing:
