« BackTralee women issues appeal for town foxes to be relocated back to the wild

fox from PixabayA Tralee woman has issued an appeal for a family of foxes to be removed from her property and returned to their natural habitat.

Helen O’Shea discovered foxes had burrowed under a chalet close to her home.

She noticed a mother and baby earlier in the year and a third fox more recently.

Helen, concerned the foxes could potentially attack her grandchildren, made contact with various organisations but has not arrived at a solution.

Speaking on Talkabout, Helen told Radio Kerry’s Deirdre Walsh while she wants the foxes removed, she doesn’t want them harmed.

Since the appeal has been issued, a number of callers have been in touch offering to assist Helen in her dilemma, and various solutions are currently being explored.
