Pa Daly was asked to hand over phone numbers and landline numbers to the commission six months ago, along with a number of other solicitors in Tralee.

The Fennelly Commission is investigating what was known by Gardai about the recordings of non 999 calls and the use of recordings over a period of 30 years.

Pa Daly, who’s a Sinn Féin county councillor, says he and other solicitors want to know if recordings were made between solicitors and their clients in Garda stations in Kerry.
