« BackTralee man claims his half a million euro lottery win

A Tralee man who bought his winning lottery ticket in Ballyduff has claimed his half a million euro prize.


The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, won €500,000 in the EuroMillions Plus draw last week.

He collected his prize at National Lottery offices today.

The Tralee man bought his lucky €12 Quick Pick ticket in Ross’s Centra, Ballyduff on September 16th.

Paula McEvoy of the National Lottery says the winner is overjoyed by his good fortune.

Meanwhile the person, who bought a lottery ticket in Kenmare, which won half a million euro, has still not collected their prize.

A five euro Quick Pick ticket bought at Whyte’s Service Station in Kenmare won the Lotto Plus top prize on September 12th.

The person has 90 days from the date of the draw to collect their winnings.
