Three young Kerry entrepreneurs have won investments totalling €50,000.
It’s part of a fund awarded by the Local Enterprise Office as part of a two million euro national competition for Ireland’s best young entrepreneurs from 18 to 30 years old.
Brendan O’Connell from Listowel with his proposal Project Management Live won €10,000 for Best New Idea.
€20,000 was presented to Shane Hassett of Killarney for Best Start-Up for his company Wazp.
Best Established Business with an investment of €20,000 was awarded to Erika Fox of Glenbeigh for her business 5A Digital.
Erika was also named Kerry’s Best Young Entrepreneur.
All local winners will now represent Kerry in the regional finals in Tipperary on November 2nd.
