« BackThree seats a ‘dead certainty’ in Kerry says Labour deputy

Kerry Labour TD Arthur Spring has indicated that he and three or four others may have to battle it for two seats in the upcoming General Election.

The new Kerry constituency has five seats up for grabs, a loss of one seat following the amalgamation of Kerry South and Kerry North-West Limerick.
Fifteen candidates are currently in the running in Kerry, including the six sitting deputies – Deputy Spring, Martin Ferris, Junior Minister Jimmy Deenihan, Deputies Michael Healy-Rae, Brendan Griffin and Tom Fleming.
Deputy Spring said that three seats in Kerry are probably a “dead certainty” and that he feels he and four or five candidates may have to battle it out for two remaining seats.
