A total of 32 people were arrested in Tralee over the weekend for Public Order offences.
A spokesman for Tralee Gardaí, however, said the figure was relatively low, given the large number of people visiting the town for the Rose of Tralee festival.
The busiest night for Gardai was Friday night, when a total of 15 people were arrested.
A further five were arrested on Saturday night, while the figure rose to 12 for last night.
The Garda spokesman said that most of the arrests were due to too much alcohol being consumed.
He paid tribute to festival goers, whom he said were generally very well behaved.
