Householders have been warned to keep their garden sheds locked at all times, after thousands of Euros worth of goods were taken in three separate raids in the county in recent days.
The thefts took place from sheds at two separate houses in Listowel, and from a shed at the back of a Killarney hotel.
The goods taken included expensive tools, lawn mowers, golf equipment and turf.
In all cases, the sheds were left unlocked.
The theft from the Killarney hotel took place during daylight on Tuesday, and was carried out by two men wearing fluorescent jackets.
