Fáilte Ireland today launched a virtual reality experience of the tourist route, including surfing under the Cliffs of Moher, sea stack climbing and cycling along the Wild Atlantic Way.

The tourism authority is also using 360 degree technology to provide visitors with an immersive view of all 15 key signature discovery points, including views of both the Blasket and Skellig Islands.

Fáilte Ireland recently piloted virtual reality as a potential sales tool at ITB Berlin, one of the world’s largest tourism trade fairs.
