« BackTD urges IT Tralee to produce more graduates for local jobs

A government backbencher in Kerry says the Institute of Technology in Tralee needs to do more to produce graduates for industry locally.

Labour’s Arthur Spring says the proximity of the Kerry Technology Park to the IT should lead to a greater availability of graduates for jobs in the companies based in the Park.
He says there are vacancies in the Kerry Technology Park which could be filled by graduates from courses at the college which are more tailored to meet demand.
