A Syrian man who left his war-torn state four years and now lives in Kerry says he dreams of returning to his home country.
Ahmed fled Syria in 2012 because of the civil war in his country and ended up Killarney having paid his way to get to Ireland.
Originally a farmer, Ahmed now works in Killarney and feels welcomed here but he worries for members of his family who are refugees in Jordan.
He says his home city of Daraa has been destroyed by the conflict – between Isis, the Assad regime and the Free Syrian Army – and people in the country have no choice but to flee a hellish war.
