« BackSurvey to be carried out on Kerry coastline

The Minister for the OPW is to carry out a survey of the entire coastline of Kerry in the coming weeks.

Simon Harris yesterday met a delegation including councillors and Oireachtas members from the county to discuss the Lower Cliff Road in Rossbeigh, which was cut off by a cliff fall in September affecting 14 houses.

Kerry County Council has confirmed that restoring access to the residents of the Lower Cliff Road is proving extremely problematic and could cost up to five million to fix.
