Legislators needs to support air ambulance services for rural Ireland.
That’s according to Declan Kirby who is a member of Ballinskelligs Inshore Rescue team.
Mr Kirby fell ill on January 9th and his heart began to beat at 290 beats per minute; something few people survive.
He was taken by the Shannon Coast Guard Helicopter to the centre of excellence in Limerick from south Kerry.
