A SIPTU representative for some of the Kerry Spring workers says it will be difficult for them to find new jobs in the local area.
Last Friday it was announced that Kerry Spring was to cease trading after an attempt to find a buyer for the bottled water company in Ballyferriter proved unsuccessful.

35 jobs were lost as a result.

In the last 18 months some employees had been working a three day week.

Industrial organiser for the SIPTU members of Kerry Spring John Cooney, say he hopes if a buyer is found they may employ those who have lost their jobs:
