« BackSenator calls for pay increase for county councillors

County councillors are doing a full-time job for part-time pay.

That’s according to Kerry Fine Gael Senator Tom Sheahan who is calling for a pay increase for county councillors.

Excluding expenses, county councillors earn €16,000 per annum – Senator Sheahan wants to see this increase to €23,000.
