The man – a Chinese national who had been fishing at Kerryhead near Ballyheigue – is believed to have been swept off rocks by a tidal surge.

It’s now five days since he was last seen. A large number of naval divers as well as the Valentia Coastguard and the LÉ Orla are involved in the search effort along with local search and rescue teams.
