One month after a coastal road collapsed near Rossbeigh beach, residents are still without vehicular access to their homes.
Because of the collapse of part of the Cliff Road into the sea in mid-September, residents are having to walk to their homes and even emergency vehicles are unable to access the properties.
17 homes are affected and locals are demanding that the government step in to deal with the coastal erosion in the area which has caused the road to collapse.
Chief Executive of Kerry County Council, Moira Murrell, has visited the area and the council has offered residents temporary accommodation if required.
One resident, Timmy O’Sullivan, says he and his neighbours are cut off and isolated following the landslide:
