« BackRose Hotel owner believes permanent dome will soon become a reality

Domnick Walsh www.dwalshphoto.ieThe owner of the Rose Hotel in Tralee believes the proposed permanent dome will soon become a reality.

The 2,500-seat centre would provide a permanent home to the Rose of Tralee International Festival.

It’s proposed to be built where the temporary structure is located each year, next to the Rose Hotel, formerly Fels Point.

The hotel was bought last year and redeveloped by Dick and Eibhlín Henggeler, the parents of the late Dott, the 2011 Washington Rose.

Speaking to Radio Kerry today, Mrs Henggeler is looking forward to being involved in the development of the proposed permanent dome.
