There’s been a rise of more than four per cent in the price of an average three bedroom semi-detached house in Kerry.
That’s according to a national survey carried out by the Real Estate Alliance.
It’s found that the average price for this type of house now stands at €190,000.
According to REA, Kerry has had the sixth highest increase in prices for three bedroom semi-detached homes in Ireland in the last three months.
REA members in Tralee and Killarney say there’s low supply of houses combined with strong demand.
They’ve warned that prices will continue to rise as competiting purchasers bid on the same property while there is no major building in the pipeline at present.
