« BackRetention of 9% VAT rate described as ‘lifeline’ for Kerry tourism sector’

The decision to retain the 9% VAT rate in the tourism sector has been described as a “prudent measure”.

Kerry Fine Gael deputy Brendan Griffin said the measure – introduced by the Fine Gael – Labour Coalition – had proven positive and proactive for restaurants, accommodation and tourism service providers.
