Kerry Fire Service had a relatively quiet Halloween night this year.
There were a total of 14 bonfire related call-outs around the county, dramatically down on last year and previous years.
There were four in Tralee, four in Killarney, four in Listowel, and one each in Cahirciveen and Ballybunion.
Kerry County Council says a number of factors can be attributed to this.
The cold and wet weather conditions weren’t favourable to bonfires and outdoor activities, and residents committees ensured that green areas weren’t damaged by large bonfires.
