« BackRadio Kerry keyring is found buried in remote farm in United States

A Radio Kerry keyring which dates back to the early 1990s, has been found buried on a remote farm in the United States.

The keyring was dug up last month by Iowa farmer Jeff Henningfield, who’s never been to Ireland and had never heard of the station.

With a little help from the Internet, he was able to track down our address in Tralee, and posted the keyring to station manager Fiona Stack.

Mr Henningfield is baffled as to how the keyring came to be buried on his land, as it’s not a part of the States where many Irish people have settled.

Speaking on the TalkAbout programme today, he described the remoteness of his farm:
