« BackProposed changes to Tralee Town Development Plan yet to be finalised

kerry county council headProposed changes to the Tralee Town Development Plan, to bring it in line with county’s Core Strategy, have yet to be finalised.

The issue came before Kerry County Council’s monthly meeting this week for ratification by members, with a proposal to revise upwards the amount of residential land in Tralee from 51.6 hectares to 81.5 hectares.

Mayor of Tralee MD Terry O’Brien said all Tralee councillors met and discussed the plan, and they accepted the proposals with one exception – that land at Curragraigue, Blennerville proposed to be rezoned agricultural, stay residential.

The proposed amendment to the plan will be advertised again for submissions and observations from members of the public.
