« BackPotential to create 90 jobs from new south Kerry greenway

A new walkway and cycleway in south Kerry has the potential to create up to 90 jobs, according to Kerrry County Council.

Plans for the €4m greenway along the route of the old railway line from Glenbeigh to Caherciveen are due to be submitted to An Bord Pleanála in the coming weeks. The development, which is subject to planning, has been hailed as a major boost for the Iveragh Peninsula with the potential to generate over €10 million annually for the local economy.
