« BackPost mortem to be carried out on climber’s body

A post mortem’s expected to be carried out later on the body of a woman who died in a fall near Annascaul yesterday.
The woman who was in her 40s was out with a group of about 30 hillwalkers  – when she slipped and fell on Stradbally Mountain.

Bad weather hampered efforts to locate her body – she was recovered by Kerry Mountain Rescue and Dingle coast guard shortly before 7 o’clock yesterday evening and brought to Kerry General Hospital.
It’s understood she is from the North Kerry area.
