« BackPlea to Kerry candidates to put issue of domestic violence high on agenda

The manager of Kerry’s Adapt women’s refuge, has asked Kerry’s election candidates to put the issue of domestic violence high on their agenda.

AdaptIn an email issued to all candidates, AnnaMarie Foley says that in Kerry alone, Adapt worked with over 170 families across their services in 2015.

Ms Foley says, at least 30 million Euro is needed nationally, to put the required additional services in place, to tackle domestic violence in the future.
