« BackPlans to mark 1916 Centenary in Listowel Town Park

There are plans to mark the 1916 centenary with a permanent planting and landscaping in Listowel Town Park.
The motion was brought to the monthly meeting of the Listowel Municipal District by Councillor Dianne Nolan.
While Kerry County Council initially stated funds were not available, members of the Listowel Municipal District said they would consider using funds from the Councillors’ allocation.
The provisional plan, which will be presented in full at the next monthly meeting, comprises a flagpole, a copy of the proclamation and the planting of trees.
