« BackPetrol station in Tralee given planning permission

Permission has been granted for a petrol station in Tralee.

An Bord Pleanala

Corrib Oil Company Limited had been granted permission subject to conditions by Kerry County Council for the development which also includes a two storey retail or office building at John Joe Sheehy Road.

This was appealed to An Bord Pleanala by Joe O’Connor.

The planning appeals board did not accept its inspector’s recommendation to refuse permission saying it would not constitute a traffic hazard and is an acceptable level of development for the site.

Permission was granted subject to 13 conditions.
