« BackPermission refused for Killarney gaming arcade

An Bord PleanalaPermission has been refused for a gaming arcade in Killarney town as it would be contrary to proper planning.

Tony Barry appealed a decision by Kerry County Council to refuse permission to change use of part of the ground floor at 57 High Street and Buckley’s Lane to an indoor sports and recreational centre with gaming machines.

An Bord Pleanala backed the local authority’s decision saying that the zoning for such a development is not permitted under the Killarney Town Development Plan.
