German manufacturing company, Amann, closed its factory at Clash in 2009.
About one quarter of the facility is currently being used by biotechnology company, Bioatlantis which uses 70,000 square feet of the plant for its manufacturing requirements. But the remaining 75% of the building remains vacant.
In response to a parliamentary question from Deputy Brendan Griffin, jobs minister Richard Bruton said the IDA has recently promoted the unit to international clients.
