Thirty Kerry festivals have received €114,500 in funding from Fáilte Ireland.
Funding of €1m was announced by Minister of State for Tourism and Sport, Michael Ring, to be distributed among over 200 national and regional events taking place this year.
Twenty-four regional festivals around the county will receive amounts varying from €1,000 to €7,000.
They include sporting, cultural, food, arts and film festivals.
Deputy Brendan Griffin has welcomed the funding.
Rose of Tralee (€30,000), Dingle Marathon (€10,000), Puck Fair (€3,000), Sneem Storytelling Festival (€3,000), Quest Killarney (€2,000), Tralee 800 (€3,000, Dingle International Film Festival (€3,000), Scoil Cheoil an Earraigh (€2,500), The Gathering (€3,000), Comórtas Peile Páidí Ó Se (€3,000), Killarney Festival of Trees (€2,000), Kerry Film Festival (€3,000), Killarney Adventure Race (€3,000), Run Killarney (€2,000), Charlie Chaplin Film Festival (€3,000), Féile na Bealtaine (€3,000), Ring of Beara Cycle (€2,500), Listowel Military Tattoo (€2,000), Féile Lughnasa (€2,000), Halloween Howl (€2,000), Cahirciveen Festival of Music and the Arts (€2,000), Nollaig Neidín (€2,000), Dingle Food Festival (€7,000), Féile Neidín (€3,000), Kfest Killorglin (€3,000), Dingle Tradfest (€3,000), Valentia Transatlantic Cable Festival (€3,000), Open Air Cinema (€1,000), Circuit Déja Vu (€3,000), and Portmagee Annual Workshop (€2,500).
