The 2.3 acre site was donated to the people of Tralee by Kerry Group in 2014.
Kerry County Council is to host workshops next week with interest groups and business and community representatives to discuss the future use of the site.
A six-week public consultation has now closed and over 600 submissions came in from members of the public.
These submissions will now be collated and categorised and the results will be presented to Tralee Municipal District councillors in the coming weeks.
Mayor of Tralee, Cllr Terry O’Brien said the response to the call for submissions has been absolutely fantastic.
The workshops which take place on Wednesday September 21st in the Brandon Hotel will include students, older people, businesses, former Denny factory employees and more.
