Over 4,500 people are expected to attend the official State commemoration at Banna Strand on April 21st.
President Michael D. Higgins will officiate at the ceremony, the only State event to be held outside of Dublin as part of the 1916 Commemorations.
Casement landed on Banna Strand on Good Friday 1916 with arms from Germany to aid the Rising.
He was later captured, tried for treason and hanged by the British.
His great-grand niece, who’s flying in from New Zealand, will lay a wreath at the monument.
Kerry County Council has announced details of commemoration events taking place in the county and full details are available online or on the council’s Facebook page.
Arts officer, Kate Kennelly says a substantial crowd is expected at Banna.
