Over 200 submissions have been made to date on the future of a major site in Tralee.
The former Denny site, which operated until 2008, was gifted to the town by Kerry Group two years ago.
Three weeks ago Kerry County Council launched the first phase of public consultation on the future of the former Denny’s site, which extends over 2.3 acres.
The local authority plans to redevelop the site and has got over 200 suggestions from the public so far.
The council has an on-site mobile unit at the entrance to the former factory.
This is going to open daily during the Rose of Tralee International Festival from tomorrow to Wednesday August 24th excluding Sunday from 12pm to 2pm.
Anyone with ideas can submit them at the office.
Ideas can also be submitted online at www.theislandtralee.ie or by filling out a survey form available in outlets in Tralee.
The consultation will run for another three weeks.
