An Icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help will visit Killarney today (Wednesday).
To mark the 150th anniversary of Pope Pius IX’s presention to the Redemptorists, Pope Francis blessed the Icon last month in St Peter’s Square before it embarked on a pilgrimage of Irish cathedrals.

Early morning Mass will be celebrated tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 7am, followed by veneration and Mass at 10.30am.
The Icon departs Killarney for Cobh Cathedral at 1 o’clock tomorrow (Thursday).
