« BackWillie Nelson performs at Other Voices in Texas

Legendary singer-songwriter Willie Nelson has opened Other Voices Austin.

The Dingle music series Other Voices travelled to Austin, Texas this week for a series of special recordings and shows.

Willie Nelson performed for Other Voices at the world famous Arlyn Studios – also a favoured haunt of Neil Young.

A number of Irish and American artists will perform at Other Voices Austin this weekend, including Texas native Shakey Graves who performed in Dingle last year and interviewed Willie Nelson.

Festival founder Philip King said US Ambassador to Ireland Kevin O’Malley – who attended Other Voices in Dingle last year – was instrumental in securing the Austin gigs.
