« BackOrange wind warning issued for Kerry

Met Éireann has issued a Code Level Orange wind warning for counties including Kerry for tonight.

Northwest winds veering northwest will increase to mean speeds of 65 to 75 kilometres per hour with gusts of 110 to 130 kilometres per hour in exposed areas and near coasts.

Kerry County Council is advising home and property owners to take the necessary precautions especially in relation to loose or unsecured property.

It’s also advising motorists to watch out for fallen branches and debris on the roads.
