A north Kerry man who was injured in a road crash last week in Central America has been transferred to hospital in Miami.
Patrick Curtin, who is in his twenties, was working for Liebherr Container Cranes in Guatemala since September.
He was injured in a road crash on Friday and his family are travelling to be at his bedside.
The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance to the family.
Patrick is a talented footballer who’s played with Kerry and his club Moyvane.
