11am – Adult students from north Kerry were last night presented with certificates on completion of their courses. Listowel Community College in conjunction with the Kerry Education Service offered the courses in IT, creative writing, recreational activities and craft skills. Presenting the certificates, Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht Jimmy Deenihan said adults returning to education face unique challenges and they should be congratulated for their committment to education. He also commended the Kerry Education Service for its range of adult education courses.
