Niall Kelleher, Fianna Fáil National ExecutiveFianna Fáil Cllr Niall Kelleher has been elected chairperson of the party in Kerry

The party held its Comhairle Dáil Ceantair AGM in the Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney last night.

Cllr Kelleher takes over the role from Len Hurley who held the position for the past decade.

Christy O’Connell from Caherciveen was elected vice chairperson while Daniel McCarthy from Dingle is secretary and Brian Sugrue from Glenbeigh takes up the position of PRO

The party will now start working on its ticket for the local and european elections.

Fianna Fáil is the largest party in Kerry with one TD,  two senators and 10 county councillors.
