There’s been much talk about the fact that competitors in this year’s Rose of Tralee Festival won’t be allowed to recite poetry during next week’s televised shows.
However, if you’re going to the Dome in Tralee for tonight’s qualifying selection event – you’re going to be treated to a party piece with a difference from one of the Roses.
Thirty two Roses are taking to the stage following the first group of competitors last night.
The young women will find out on Sunday if they’ve made it to the televised finals which will be shown next Monday and Tuesday.
One of those taking to the stage tonight in the Dome is the Newfoundland and Labrador Rose, Anna Murphy.
