Tourism businesses nationwide are meeting in the Muckross Park Hotel for a two day ‘Let’s Talk Tourism’ conference.
Organised by the Kerry Branch of the Irish Hotels Federation, SKAL and Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce; the Forum which is being chaired by Broadcaster Miriam O’Callaghan.
Among the topics being explored is Brexit and its effect on tourism, international tourism trends and tourism policy in Ireland.
Speakers at the event include, Finance professor Brian Lucey, Irish Hotels Federation President Joe Dolan and Chief Executive of the Irish Tourist Industry Confederation, Eoghan O’Mara Walsh.
Tomorrow will see delegates visit Dingle where they will be shown how the town has developed food and rural tourism on the Dingle Peninsula over the last ten years.
